Mipel returns to the presence in its 120th edition

The Mipel carnival, bags and accessories has everything ready to celebrate its 120th edition from 19 to 21 September at Pavilion 1 of FieraMilano-Rho in Milan (Italy). On this occasion, the contest will be named Mipel play in reference to the world of sport, a tribute to the sporting successes achieved this year by Italy and a way to remember the need for the sector to start again, to resume the game. In line with the concept of this edition, Mipel's organization will play an athletic, tennis and basketball court in the pavilion.
Around 80 brands, spread over 2,500 square meters of exhibition, will participate in the September event, with participation figures "significantly lower than the usual ones," says Danny D'Alessandro, general manager of the fair. "it will be a minor and certainly concentrated exhibition due to the lack of buyers from key countries such as China, Japan and South Korea," he adds.
"Mipel remains a valuable strategic moment for the sector: buyers and businesses, especially the small ones that have suffered the most from the crisis, need to compare with each other, keep abreast of developments and trends in the sector, be inspired, get to know each other and also do business," explains Franco Gabbrielli, President of Mipel. "organising the fair in physical format after a completely digital edition means giving an important signal of restart and a positive attitude to a sector that has been alive and optimistic in these months, despite the difficulties," he adds.
Reinicio juntosMipel se celebrará al mismo tiempo que otras importantes ferias de moda en Italia. La primera de ellas en convocarse será DaTE, evento dedicado al sector de las gafas de moda, que tendrá lugar en Florencia del 11 al 13 de septiembre. Le seguirá Homi Fashion & Jewels Exhibition, certamen dedicado a la bisutería y los complementos, que se desarrollará en Milán del 18 al 20 de septiembre. Coincidirá en fechas y espacio con las ferias de calzado Micam Milano y de moda femenina de lujo TheOneMilano Special, las dos programadas del 19 al 21 de septiembre en Milán. El ciclo de eventos expositivos de septiembre concluirá del 22 al 24 con la celebración de Lineapelle, la principal feria internacional de cuero, materiales y accesorios para la industria de la moda, y Simac-Tanning Tech, certamen especializado en la exposición de maquinaria y tecnologías para las industrias del calzado, la marroquinería y la curtiduría.
