The International University of Andalusia at its headquarters in La Rábida, through the Atlantic Copper Foundation Chair, announces the IX edition of the “La Rábida” Huelva Studies Award in order to help encourage research and the transmission of knowledge in the University of Huelva.
Researchers, teachers and/or students from any of the universities in Andalusia may participate in the contest. The works presented must be unpublished, not awarded in any other contest or call. If there is any pending publication in scientific journals derived from the work in question, this circumstance must be notified to the Jury prior to the official communication of the decision. The authorship of the works presented may be individual or collective.
The prize for the selected work will consist of 3,000 euros and the inclusion of the work in the catalog of UNIA publications, which will take care of its edition, presentation and dissemination.
The works will deal mainly with some aspect of the reality of Huelva and its province in areas that coincide with the priority thematic axes of the UNIA, fundamentally environment and sustainability, tourism, circular economy, land use planning and sustainable local development, cooperation and relationships international, biomedicine and biotechnology, new technologies, educational innovation and critical thinking.

The works will be presented under a motto or pseudonym and accompanied by a closed envelope, which will contain the name of the author or authors, their NIF or passport number, their postal address, their telephone number and/or their email address, together with a brief curriculum vitae.
The works must be presented or sent (by certified mail) to the following address: Atlantic Copper Foundation. Francisco Montenegro Avenue, s/nº. 21001 Huelva. To be accepted, the date of the postmark or exit certification must not exceed March 7, 2022.
The delivery of the “La Rábida” Huelva Studies Award will take place before April 30, 2022.
