In addition, one of Alfaja's most active facets is the informative and pedagogical.

The Antinoo Fine Art gallery opened its doors to the public in mid -2016.At first, as antiquities specialists, putting a private art collection on the market, and later, in September of the same year, expanding the business as a art gallery itself.

And since then Antinoo Fine Art has managed to throw more than twenty events behind it, between painting, photography, book presentations and concert presentations.

Among all these meetings and acts, artists such as María José Ruiz, Pablo Caro Revidiego, José Luis Massó (illustrator of the book Los Astandonos de Cayetana Guillén Cuervo), Màxim Huerta (presenting together with the illustrator María Herreros her book Paris will be Toujours Paris),Jean Carlos Puerto or Jesús Rodolfo (nominated for a Grammy for his second studio album Transfixing Metamorphosis, concert in the auditorium of the Carmen Thyssen Museum) have been some of the artists who have been part of the exhibition and cultural poster of Antinoo Fine Arte.

Opening gallery

The Opening Gallery - Photography and Visual Arts Center was born in Malaga Capital in 1995 as a photography school with the vocation of sharing knowledge of this discipline to all city fans.

Year after year the training offer was growing, moving from the analog world to digital and always alerting to the evolution of the photographic medium: from the first day the teachers contributed in their classes more than their knowledge, adding their passion for photography.

In 2002 Opening moved to the headquarters of Granada Street where it grew in space, in courses and, above all, in activities to get the photograph more and more public.

There, Opening inaugurated its exhibition hall, the editorial, and began to be present, more and more, in artistic events of the city and Spain.

The opening growth is perpetual, so in September 2018 it opened a new headquarters of 500 square meters in Victoria Street. In this new open space is dedicated to spreading, forming and experimenting in photography and visual arts.

From the first day, those responsible for Opening was clear that the new center had to vibrate to the sound of the cultural life of Malaga and so is being through two exhibition rooms, its numerous creative activities and projects.

Sostoa house

We find Sostoa house in 142 of Hero de Sostoa Street, and inside, to its architect: Pedro Alarcón, which, since 2013, has welcomed what is still his home to numerous artists and exhibitions.Pedro fulfills the dream of many: living in a museum, walking in pajamas in front of great works of art.

This special space has already passed numerous artists and great exhibitions and, to date, the selection of the authors he has presented has been in charge of the personal bet of the homeowner.

Today, and until September 22, you seem to Pedro Alarcón support an exhibition of Isabel Rosado made up of eleven photographs that constitute a complete tour of the scenarios and some exhibitions held at Casa Sustoa, in a skilled synthetic quality.

According to Pedro Alarcón, "to the representation of the exhibition spaces, which remind us of those inventories of collections of another era -paintings full of other paintings -are added the snapshots that appeal to the experience of the sister experience: the kitchen after aInauguration, the Red Sofa before the bookstore, the lobby with its golden mirrors and its retro decoration or any day of assembly ".

Finally, the exhibition is completed with an exhaustive set of 90 false polaroids - in reality small collages - that draw a complete itinerary for the exhibitions held from 2013 until the present moment.

Perhaps the most subjugating of those pieces is the last, of an absolute black, which places us before what has not yet been done.A BLACK THAT IS NEAR: September 22 arrives.

They run, foolish, to see the exhibition before it comes to an end.

Elder Art Gallery

The Eldener gallery is a personal commitment of Malagueña María Rosa Jurado that, from the university stage -said the studies of architecture and fine arts in Madrid -, her interest in the art world led her to participate in exhibitions as an artist and curator.

This interest was transformed into commitment and since 2016 he directs the contemporary art gallery Eldeir Art Gallery where he has been able to unite art and architecture, being each unique and specific exhibition for the chosen space.

This is its philosophy, which makes this gallery a differential value that provides its own character and that is that in each exhibition it changes place. This pop-up format is common in London or New York, but it is not yet common in Spain.

Elder is, in this way, an art gallery that does not have permanent physical space due to conviction. The network of this gallery extends both online and offline cableing exhibitions, participating in fairs, supporting the artists with whom they collaborate -which are both consecrated and emerging -, editing graphic work and advising collectors.

Thus, Elder Art Gallery constitutes a new gallery model that wants to contribute to open, blur and create the paths of the world to come, traveling the routes of its artists and sharing with the authors and collectors a way to assemble the spaces with the newways of looking and feeling art.

In ELDEIVE ART GALLERY Each exhibition is unique and specific for the chosen space, highlighting something that should already be known by all: architecture is art.

Ignacio del Río's study

Ignacio del Río's study was born as an art gallery in the second half of 2012, with an inaugural exhibition in which he hosted the works of the artists Charo Carrera and Ernst Kraft.

From that moment on, the architect of the gallery, Ignacio del Río, begins to unleash his idea of managing this space to have the participation of great artists.

Some consecrated such as Chema Lumbreras, Antonio Yesa, Sebastián Navas, Lorenzo Saval, José follow, Concha Galea, Dámaso Ruano, Rafael Alvarado, Fernando Robles...and other young and incipient, such as creators Javier Roz, Víctor Carrasco, Mónica Vázquez Ayala, Eugenio Rivas, Juanjo Fuentes.

But Ignacio del Río's study also bets on artists little known as Paco Sanguino, Eva Jaklin, Susi Márquez, Javier Hidalgo, Yoli Muñoz...To enhance art in all its forms giving accommodation to any type of artistic expression.

In this way, Ignacio del Río's study creates a somewhat eclectic vision, and shapes what is currently the art space of Ignacio del Río, where I "accommodate a wide segment of current artistic by emphasizing the main emphasis on theConceptual current of art and in all its techniques and manifestations ".

Within what is the temporary space of each year, Ignacio del Río usually opens between seven and nine exhibitions, with an average duration of between three and four weeks each.

And as for the future of Ignacio del Río's study?"My intention is to continue developing cultural programs within a creative dynamic based on this spirit," concludes Ignacio del Río.

The yellow house

The Yellow House is a very active contemporary art and culture center in the city of Malaga.

The rattle

As the name implies, the rattle is here to make cultural noise, creating synergies with different agents.

Located in the historic center of Malaga, in the heart of the capital, in the Plaza Pintor Eugenio Chicano (a name that neither painted), the rattle is a space where they can live an experience, acquire something unique or simply observe and inspire you.

For its architects it intends to be a meeting place created by and for artist lovers, design or independent culture, and where a philosophy of artists and designers who share a vision of work, an aesthetic and a lifestyle are reflected.

Thus, inaugurated in 2017, the Exhibition of the Matraca is the illustration and the work on paper, offering a differentiating character. In this sense, the gallery is a space that aims to publicize young emerging artists, especially attending to local creation, with artists from the Faculty of Fine Arts or the School of San Telmo. And always combining it with more consecrated artists from the national and international level.

With a contemporary aesthetics interior design, this gallery is also a hybrid that has two spaces: the gallery itself and a concept store, where you can acquire contemporary crafts, composed of products with careful design (ceramics, jewelry, leather items,For the home ...), within the latest trends, but created by an artisanal process and within the current of Slow products, that is, a quality product.

The versatile

Art goes for neighborhoods, which is why we cannot stop talking about the ambitious project of the Mothel in the Lagunillas neighborhood of Malaga.

This is a space in which events dedicated to all cultural, exhibition and didactic disciplines are organized for the fun of the whole family, children and adults, framed in a good offer gastronomy.

Currently Lagunillas is a neighborhood in full artistic resurgence that struggles to survive gentrification and in it the versatile tries.

The Mission of the Molyvalent is, in this way, to create a place of meeting and exchange between local artists and visitors in the heart of the neighborhood, bringing their work closer to cultural and alternative leisure.

A place of creation and performing arts, workshops, exhibition hall, yoga and dance, coffee-theater and meeting.A cultural center with a wide range of workshops, music and dance classes, theater events, poetry, performances, both night and morning and morning musical evenings for children.

In this way, in the versatile a space has been created where to encourage and accommodate all the cultural proposals that arise in the neighborhood, generating a meeting point for all creative ideas so that they are and grow and grow.

Valmar Gallery

The exhibition space Valmar arises from several ways, from many transits and some roads already traced. Thus, François Valcke and Gerardo Martínez, responsible for Valmar, decided, in their adventures, that art is one of the most extraordinary forms of communication because it is the dimensional essence of philosophy.

Given this, its gallery is established online with permanent exhibition at the prior request of customers, and specializes in Latin American art with special emphasis on Cuban art.

In fact, how much with about thirty Cuban and Mexican artists ranging from the essential figurative to figurative abstraction, in various formats and techniques that cover paint, drawing and graphics, as well as small format sculptures.

Its creators commune with the soul of good art and the good artist committed to the quality of catching an objective and subjective moment and taking it to a base where to support the idea.

Its slogan and basis for the sale of the displayed is that art should not be feared and our space must be filled, since it is not only about investment, which in fact is, but about communing with a whole history of creation and witha cultural background that the artist carries not only in the pencils and brushes but also in the trajectory and path of life that he has done.

For gallery valmar the main characteristic required and sought, to take into account, it is the extreme quality, either in the design, in the feature, in the brushstroke or in the training structures, when it comes to sculpture, which at the moment they handle in small Format.

"If Malaga is the city where art inhabits, then we believe that it is not only to describe a city of museums, but a city where visual art, the theater, the musical and in turn all of them are managed and handled together", say Valcke and Martínez.

Isabel Hurley Gallery

The Isabel Hurley gallery opens at the end of 2007 with the aim of promoting contemporary art through the dissemination of the work of emerging artists, Midcareer and consolidated and the promotion of collecting.

Thus, since its inception, this space maintains uninterrupted programming, between five and six annual exhibitions, plus some performance events, in addition to its participation in international fairs, among which are Arco Madrid, Estampa Madrid, Volta New York,Press New York or Madrid Photo, among others.

On the other hand, another of the objectives of this gallery is the maintenance of an international project and the vocation of acting as a platform for the debate on the new representation strategies as well as about the various contemporary manifestations, defending a plural program that accommodatesAll formats and trends in a multicultural context.

In this way, the gallery is very committed to the focus on the wonderful challenge that Colombian politician Humberto de la Calle put on the table: reaching a culture of peace through art.

Given this, and facing the unavoidable task of bringing contemporary art to the youngest, the Isabel Hurley gallery offers programs for different profiles, in the space itself or outside of it.
