Where does this passion for design and sewing come from? my mother is a dressmaker and I have been surrounded by fabrics and sewing machines all my life watching my mother fix Communion dresses, costumes, how she made me skirts, dresses... And little by little I was messing around, picking up the old sewing machines around the house, asking her for patterns and making me my skirts, my dresses. I've always liked it. It's a way to escape the world, it gives me peace. It's like therapy. It's my favorite hobby, though now I Don't have as much time as I did before I was a mother. But before, when he had some leisure time, he usually devoted it to sewing. At home I have an old sewing machine, which is over a hundred years old, which you have to hit with your foot, which belonged to my grandmother. I used it a lot because it was so hard that I was the only one I could sew cowboy fabric with without breaking it. Now I have a more modern one, but I have that one as a relic and it's also a perfect piece of furniture because it's closed like a little table.
Are you still making yourself some garment or at least some of the ones you already have? yes, yes. Custodian of everything! Maybe I'll take the scissors, bleach... Everything I find out there and I'm very useful to you. You can't imagine! All of a sudden my head is going to a thousand and I'm starting to imagine things. But my main source of inspiration is the heavy metal groups of the '80s, so every time I see articles from that time or read books from that hard rock scene, I try to make dresses or costumes that are inspired by those artists, who are my idols.
Would you like to throw your own brand again like you did years ago with rock t-shirts? being like I am, who implicates me to the fullest, now it's impossible, but you never know. At the moment my most important project is my children and from there I try to manage everything else.
