And it is that on December 16 and at 7 pm the center of the puppet is inaugurated - the first in Spain that offers regular training in the theater of puppets and objects - that will have its headquarters in seven eyes street, in Alcorcón.
Como se sabe, España tiene una larga y valiosa tradición en el teatro de títeres –que se lo digan a Lorca– y, tal como ya se ha hecho en otros países de nuestro entorno, ha llegado el momento de recoger todas estas experiencias y dar forma, como se ha hecho con otras disciplinas de las artes escénicas, a un Centro del Títere que reúna un cuerpo teórico-práctico especializado en la divulgación, la exposición, la creación, la exhibición y la documentación.

Por su su lado, el Centro del Títere está dirigido y gestionado por la Fundación El Arte del Títere, y viene impulsado por La Tartana Teatro, una compañía de teatro de títeres con más de 40 años de trayectoria.
