Finally we come to Paolo Gucci. Son of Aldo, nephew of Rodolfo and, therefore, cousin of Maurizio. Played by an unrecognizable Jared Leto who mutates his personality again thanks to a large prosthetic nose and a generous bald head, Paolo is possibly the character who feels the most devotion to design. Proof of this is his remarkable look, especially the purple corduroy two-piece suit adorned with a belt of the same fabric that he wears in one of the main scenes is striking.
In that same sequence, and despite being seen briefly, Paolo wears a flirty gold watch with Gucci's signature red and green adorning the dial. The curious thing about this watch is not that it is anachronistic, it is that basically it is not known if it really existed. The fashion house had not started manufacturing watches at that time, so the question is whether there was a similar model made to order or if it was simply created to reinforce the character in the film.
