Perrin is a Wolf Brother in 'The Wheel of Time'

As revealed in the first novel in the series, The Eye of the World, Perrin is what the wolves call a "Wolf Brother". Wolf Brothers are humans who have the unusual ability to communicate telepathically with wolves, and when one of them appears, the wolves that live in the nearby areas are automatically drawn naturally to the place where this person is.

At the moment, Perrin is still hallucinating what is happening to him and has no idea that he is a Brother Wolf, but he will find out at some point in the story.
