The real reason Jennifer Lopez left the price tag on her cape
The truth is that more than one of the singer's fans came to her defense, arguing that this was not her mistake, but her team of stylists, who are the ones who choose each of the pieces for their events and shows. One in particular confessed that this detail was not a price tag, but a code to identify the tests that are intended for celebrities.
"First of all, they haven't seen a Dolce & Gabbana price tag, because you'd know that's not it. It's a supplier identity number that they see on their proofs. Second, it's not Jlo's responsibility to look for labels, it's her stylist who is the one who prepares the clothes for her", could be read on Twitter.
Also, in many of these events, the clothes are on loan from the designers or the firm for the occasion. What many stylists tend to do is hide those registration tags... without this meaning that they are going to return it, as other jokes of the look let on.
